    • Dhar and Kolishetti labs in collaboration with Nair and Toborek labs developed a nanotherapeutic platform for neuroHIV and drugs of abuse related complications which is in press for a publication in ACS Nano. A true multi team effort which included scientists from different career levels. We hope that this work will help the scientific community with some new insights for HIV therapy.       • Dr. Shanta Dhar established a new research Lab, Laboratory of Nanomedicine and Bioinorganic Materials at The University of Georgia, Chemistry Department. The group research interests lie at the interface of chemistry and biology with particular emphasis on nanocarrier mediated delivery of metal-based drugs for their potential applications in various diseases and in the development of nano-vaccines.
